Large-scale renovation includes Stabilizer, a natural soil binder used in Arizona Diamondbacks Stadium

PHOENIX– July 7, 2011 – As Phoenix gears up for the Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star game, the future pros of America are being given the opportunity to play on the same field as their heroes. In one of its largest renovations to date, Stabilizer Solutions, Inc. a Phoenix-based soil technology company has joined with the MLB, the Arizona Diamondbacks and other local companies, to renovate the Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix located at 548 W Southern Ave. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on July 11, 2011 to dedicate the park; details are listed below. Diamondbacks, Major League Baseball, and Boys and Girls Club representatives will be in attendance.

Stabilizer Solutions donated nearly 70 tons of its Stabilizer® Pro-Red Infield Mix to help the field maintain optimal moisture levels, even during Arizona’s brutal summers. The product has been used on each of the “Diamondsback” charity field renovations to date. Stabilizer®, the original natural soil binder, is an organic, locally produced product that can also be found just blocks away on Chase Field.
“We specifically chose to donate our Stabilizer Pro-Red Infield Mix to this project because it is durable and can withstand the wear and tear of many summers of play,” said Jon Hubbs, president of Stabilizer Solutions, Inc. “Being asked to participate in this renovation project was a real honor for us and we’re hoping that this field produces many future All-Stars.”
