Softball Field Maintenance In Spotlight, Women’s College World Series

Record breaking May rainfall in the Oklahoma area stirred major cancellation concerns for the Women’s College World Series (WCWS) games and events.  Overall, the season finale has remained relatively on track, thanks to much of the hard work of the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium Grounds Crew.   Recently ESPN W followed the grounds crew as they prepped the field in between WCWS games.  Head Groundskeeper Chuck White and his crew do an incredible job preparing the Stabilizer Pro Red infield and Hilltopper pitching circle, recreating pregame conditions, in just thirteen minutes.
